Kuwait’s logistics tech startup, Raha, has closed a pre-Series A funding round, led by Soor Capital and PIF-backed private equity fund, eWTP Arabia Capital.[1]
The round brings the tech startup's total funding to-date to $14 million.
ShopRaha, the first pure-play service in the region and a fully automated e-grocery platform marked the company's first successful venture in the Kuwaiti market. ShopRaha has chilled automated warehouses as well as an automated robotics fulfillment center in Kuwait.
Raha's first seed round raised $6.7 million, and was led by London-based VC Cedar Mundi Ventures, Kuwait's Nox Management, and Saudi Arabia's Aujan Enterprises.
Raha has made use of its recent funding to expand its industry presence in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
