Through this partnership, MBRIF seeks to use AzurX's expertise to attract high-potential space startups globally.
The partnership will facilitate a customized six-month accelerator program, attracting startups worldwide to the UAE. Tailored to support innovators across various stages of maturity, the program offers mentorship, funding assistance, and access to UAE stakeholders.
The seventh cohort of the project, chosen from over 230 applicants from 41 countries, includes a varied variety of innovators working in sectors such as health, clean energy, technology, space, transportation, renewable energy, and water.
One noteworthy success story from the program's involvement in the space industry is Farmin, an Emirati-based remote sensing platform that makes use of artificial intelligence-processed satellite pictures. Farmin has partnered with organizations like the MBRSC, Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy (ADMA), and Abu Dhabi Ports with the help of MBRIF, obtaining around AED 1.1 million ($300,000) for a number of initiatives.
