Saudi Arabia-based artificial intelligence (AI) startup vminds.ai has bagged a six-figure pre-seed investment to advance its platform, following its official launch in 2024. The funding round was led by strategic angel investors from diverse business sectors.

Developed by VEEM Solutions, an award-winning Saudi company specializing in advanced technology and AI innovations, vminds.ai was founded in 2024 by Ahmed Al-Mashhadi. The platform integrates over 150 AI tools into a unified solution, offering services ranging from generative AI for text, images, videos, and music to data analysis, speech conversion, and developer tools.

The startup is also a graduate of the Wa’ed Entrepreneurship Centre, a startup incubator run by Saudi oil giant Aramco, as well as the Tech Champions Accelerator, an initiative by the KSA Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). Additionally, vminds.ai is currently part of NVIDIA’s and Microsoft’s startup programs.

The startup’s recent funding will support its launch for individual users, with plans to introduce an enterprise version in the third quarter (Q3) of 2025. In an interview with Inc. Arabia, Al-Mashhadi said, "Our vision is to make vminds.ai the go-to AI hub — a place where anyone can access, create, and distribute AI tools."

Al-Mashhadi, an experienced entrepreneur with over 25 years of leadership across 12 countries, described vminds.ai’s mission as one focused on democratizing AI, and making it accessible to all users, regardless of their technical background. "We see ourselves as a catalyst for AI adoption in Saudi Arabia, not just for businesses, but for everyday people," he explained. "While AI is often seen as a complex technology reserved for experts, our mission is to democratize AI, and make it accessible to all — whether you’re a housewife, a student, an entrepreneur, a content creator, or simply someone who wants to leverage AI in your daily life."

According to Al-Mashhadi, vminds.ai aims to boost AI adoption across the nation among individuals and businesses, with the aim of advancing Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. "AI will be a game-changer in this journey, but for it to truly drive impact, it needs to reach more people — not just tech-savvy professionals, but the general public," Al-Mashhadi said.

He added, "The future of AI in Saudi Arabia is not just about technology—it’s about people. The more we empower individuals and businesses with AI, the more we amplify human intelligence, creativity, and productivity as a whole. That’s the real revolution, and that’s the future we’re building with vminds.ai."

vminds.ai is also focusing on advancing AI personalization, tailoring recommendations based on individual needs and industries. The startup sees significant opportunities in sectors such as education, healthcare, and content creation.

As businesses in Saudi Arabia increasingly explore AI integration, Al-Mashhadi offered practical advice for those taking their first steps into AI. "The biggest misconception about AI is that it’s too complicated or requires massive investment to implement," he said. "The truth is, AI is more accessible than ever, and businesses—regardless of their size or industry—can start benefiting from AI today without needing a full AI team or deep technical expertise."

He further highlighted the importance of starting small, identifying areas where AI can deliver quick wins, and ensuring data readiness. "Businesses don’t need to overhaul their entire operations to use AI," he said. "Start by identifying one or two areas where AI can provide an immediate benefit, such as automating customer service, improving marketing personalization, or streamlining data analysis."
