Flat6Labs and CFA Join Forces in Climatetech Financing
A call for project proposals that address climate change in Egypt will begin during the next few weeks.
Flat6Labs, the Egypt-based seed and early-stage venture capital firm, has teamed up with the Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) to be their CFA Egypt delivery partner, as per a company announcement.[1]
Flat6Labs will deliver CFA Egypt's second phase, which will begin during the next few weeks with a call for project proposals that address climate change in Egypt.
The four-year £12 million ($15 million) CFA technical assistance program is funded by the UK Government's International Climate Finance in the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Egypt will be the first Arab country to join the program operating in nine countries, including South Africa, Turkey, Mexico, Peru, Vietnam, and Pakistan.
Since its launch in 2011 by Sawari Ventures, Flat6Labs has been a key player in building the entrepreneurial scene in Egypt, offering young innovators with unique business ideas the opportunity to turn their vision into market-leading ventures.
