SVC Invests $30 Million in Olive Rock Partners Fund I

Saudi Venture Capital Company (SVC) has announced a $30 million investment in UAE-based private equity firm Olive Rock Partners as part of SVC’s fund investment program.[1]
The move is aimed at enhancing financing opportunities for startups and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Saudi Arabia. The program will facilitate funding for firms in their early growth or expansion stages.
SVC was established in 2018 to spearhead the growth of the venture capital ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.
More than 600 startups and SMEs have benefited from the 50 private capital (venture capital, private equity, venture debt, and private debt) funds that SVC has sponsored since its founding.
