Invest Qatar, Boeing Partner to Boost Aerospace Industry
Boeing's existing presence in Qatar, with companies like Boeing Qatar Inc. and Boeing International Corporation, will be complemented by this new venture.
Invest Qatar and Boeing have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering Qatar's aerospace sector growth. The agreement, inked during the Qatar Economic Forum, establishes Boeing Aerospace Doha LLC as a permanent legal entity in Qatar, as per an emailed press release to Inc. Arabia.

This new Boeing hub aims to invigorate the local aerospace landscape by focusing on research, technological advancement, innovation, and support for start-ups.
Additionally, it will prioritize sustainable aviation practices and the development of a skilled local workforce essential for long-term success.
This new venture will complement Boeing's current presence in Qatar, which includes businesses like Boeing Qatar Inc. and Boeing International Corporation.
Boeing's engagement in Qatar dates back to 2006, spanning various aerospace sectors and employing over 360 individuals. Qatar Airways operates a fleet of Boeing airplanes, with numerous orders in the pipeline, including the Boeing 777X.
Beyond its commercial activities, Boeing actively invests in Qatar's education and research landscape, contributing $1.5 million towards STEM education and workforce development since 2009.
