Mubadala Invests in Manipal Health Enterprises

Mubadala Investment Company has unveiled plans to invest in Manipal Health Enterprises, a player in India's healthcare landscape.[1]

Established in 1991, Manipal Health Enterprises is led by its founder Ranjan Pai. The company has expanded its footprint from its origins in Bangalore to encompass a pan-Indian presence.

Manipal Health Enterprises operates a network of over 30 hospitals across India. Serving approximately 6 million patients annually, the company boasts a workforce of more than 5,000 doctors, making it the country's second-largest hospital chain in terms of bed capacity.

Temasek, a Singapore-based global investment company, will retain a majority stake in the healthcare firm.
