Vision Golfe, an annual high-level forum designed to accelerate trade, investment, and strategic cooperation between France and the GCC, is set to run this year from June 18-19, 2026, at the French Ministry for the Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty in Paris.

Held under the High Patronage of the French President Emmanuel Macron, Vision Golfe 2026 is being organized by Business France, the public consulting business serving the international development of the French economy.

In its fourth edition, Vision Golfe shall take place against the backdrop of global trade routes and investment flows being redrawn by geopolitical tension, energy-transition pressures, and intensifying technology competition.

Staged under the theme “From Cooperation to Transformation,” Vision Golfe 2026 shall build on the EUR24.9 billion worth of trade recorded between France and the GCC in the previous year.

Bilateral trade between France and the UAE alone reached EUR10.8 billion in 2025. Similarly, the figure was EUR8.2 billion for Saudi Arabia, EUR3.3 billion for Kuwait, EUR1.7 billion for Qatar, EUR0.4 billion for Oman, and EUR0.5 billion for Bahrain.

In a statement, Axel Baroux, Business France Near and Middle East Director, said, “In a world where inaction is the enemy of growth, Vision Golfe 2026 drives tangible progress. It brings together the right minds to catalyze initiatives, mobilize investments, and generate impact that can be measured, not just discussed. Against the backdrop of today’s complex global and regional circumstances, organizing this 4th edition is both a priority and a must-attend forum. France and the GCC are structuring collaboration around tangible economic indicators, anticipating market shifts, and advancing projects that reinforce regional and global competitiveness. The themes and discussions at the event are expected to give rise to concrete strategies, actionable partnerships, and new initiatives that will redefine the economic landscape in the months and years ahead.”

Ahead of Vision Golfe 2026, Business France CEO Louis Margueritte visited the UAE with the aim of deepening bilateral cooperation, accelerating investment flows, and reinforcing strategic partnerships across key sectors shaping the future global economy. Speaking at an event staged at the Dubai Press Club, Margueritte said, “The UAE is no longer only a strategic market for France. It is increasingly a strategic co-builder of future industries. In times of profound global transformation, trusted partnerships matter more than ever.”

In its last edition, Vision Golfe brought together more than 1,250 participants and facilitated over 2,000 high-level business meetings. Inc. Arabia's Editor in Chief, Aby Sam Thomas, who has been a part of Vision Golfe since its inception in 2023, will be speaking at this year’s edition of the event as well.
