Gamechangers: AI | Seez’s Tarek Kabrit Has A Vision For AI That Goes Beyond Guidance To Action

Most people were focused on only the potential presented by artificial intelligence (AI) when Seez came into being in 2016 as a startup in the UAE, but co-founder and CEO Tarek Kabrit decided to build his enterprise by embedding the technology into the core infrastructure of the traditional automotive sector, which led it to launch solutions like Connect (formerly called Seezar), the first AI chat assistant purpose-built for car buying, as well as CARS, an AI operating system that automates dealership workflows.
Such wins led Seez to be acquired by UK-based automotive intelligence platform Pinewood.AI in 2025, thereby proving that GCC-born innovation can compete on the global stage. “Our vision is AI that goes beyond guidance to action, autonomously handling operational tasks, while working side by side with human teams,” Kabrit tells Inc. Arabia. “In automotive retail, this means AI that doesn’t just respond or recommend, but executes tasks across dealership and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) systems, freeing teams to focus on strategy, sales, and customer relationships.”
This is the same premise at the heart of Seez’s newest innovation, Project Intelligence (Pi), which is set to take autonomy even further by managing operational tasks across systems, thereby making dealerships more efficient and freeing humans to focus on higher-value work. “Looking ahead, AI like Pi will execute multi-step tasks across systems without manual input, reducing errors, and transforming the way we interact with technology,” Kabrit says. “The result is faster processes, higher operational output, and measurable business impact.”
