Gamechangers: Wand AI's Jean-Paul Sacy
The head of EMEA of Wand AI has been named one of Inc. Arabia’s Gamechangers for 2025—a list that recognizes leaders driving the artificial intelligence revolution in the MENA region.
Jean-Paul Sacy is the Head of EMEA at the US-headquartered Wand AI, which, through its cutting-edge technology offerings, addresses several key challenges specific to the GCC region. “By providing artificial intelligence (AI)-driven solutions across various industries, we are actively contributing to the GCC’s efforts to diversify their economies beyond oil and gas,” Sacy shares. “For instance, our advanced digital workforce helps businesses reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making. It also enables the development of smart city applications, improving urban living, infrastructure, and public services in the region.”

Sacy has come to his current role at Wand AI after a career trajectory that’s seen him in leadership positions at notable companies like BakerHughesC3.ai, Lummus Digital, EY, DuPont Sustainable Solutions, and Celerant Consulting. “My transition from advisory to AI has been driven by the belief that technology enables us to increasingly solve more and more complex challenges,” Sacy shares. “By providing scalable and customizable AI solutions, I have helped businesses and governments achieve their goals and improve the quality of life for their communities.”
Sacy draws on this experience to argue that the GCC stands to gain significantly by harnessing the power of AI. “By leveraging AI, the GCC countries can create new revenue streams, reduce reliance on hydrocarbons, and build resilient economies,” he points out. And at the forefront of these AI innovations, Sacy predicts, will be the GCC’s young and dynamic population, who will not only drive such technological advancements, but also help create a vibrant ecosystem. “Investment in AI education and research will foster a skilled workforce, attract global talent, and establish the GCC as a hub for AI innovation,” he adds.
