BIM Ventures, SBI Holding Launch US$200 Million Fund
BIM Capital will explore venture debt, private credit markets, and real estate development funds to offer financing options for companies in the Middle East.
Saudi Arabia’s BIM Ventures and Japan’s SBI Holding have launched BIM Capital, a joint venture focused on investment growth across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
The venture aims to attract over US$200 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) and manage assets exceeding $2 billion.
It was announced in the presence of KSA Minister of Investment HE Khalid Al-Falih at the eighth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII8), which was held in Riyadh from October 29-31.
BIM Capital will pursue investments in private equity, venture capital, debt funds, and real estate development. The firm’s strategy includes targeted investments in high-growth sectors, especially technology ventures, emerging industries, and real estate, offering investors access to new opportunities in these sectors.
In addition, BIM Capital plans to explore venture debt, private credit markets, and real estate development funds to provide flexible financing options to companies and real estate projects. This approach is intended to support businesses with scalable models and offer investors returns while managing risk.
BIM Capital is subject to obtaining approvals and licensing from Saudi Arabia's Capital Market Authority.
