The stadium, set to house the Saudi national football team and host major sports events, will be situated in northern Riyadh.

The King Salman Stadium in Saudi Arabia will be integrated into a sports complex with an indoor sports hall, Olympic-sized pool, and other athletic amenities. These facilities cater to all age groups and are connected by a nine-kilometer sports track encircling King Abdulaziz Park.

The stadium will include a 150-seat royal suite, 120 hospitality suites, 300 VIP seats, and 2,200 dignitary seats. Additionally, a rooftop walking path will offer views of King Abdulaziz Park.

It aligns with Vision 2030's sports goals to advance Saudi Arabia's sports infrastructure. Hosting major global events will enhance investment and the local economy through its sporting and commercial amenities.  This comes after Saudi Arabia announced plans to host the first Olympic Esports Games in 2025 through an agreement with the International Olympic Committee.
