The plan was approved by the Executive Council during a meeting chaired by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM).
While specific details regarding the implementation timeline remain forthcoming, authorities had previously conducted a comprehensive survey to gather insights on the potential benefits of flexible working hours and remote work arrangements.
The traffic alleviation plan encompasses various strategies, including the development of priority public bus routes aimed at improving trip times by up to 59%. Additionally, plans are underway to expand Dubai's network of dedicated bus lanes, with completion slated between 2025 and 2027.
