SecureMyScholarship Secures $550,000 in Funding

The Dubai-based edtech will use the recent influx of funds to fuel plans for expansion and product enhancement.

Dubai-based edtech platform SecureMyScholarship has raised $550,000 in bridge funding. The investment round values SecureMyScholarship at $6 million.[1]

The recent influx of funds will fuel SecureMyScholarship's plans for expansion and product enhancement, particularly as it sets its sights on tapping into the Indian market.

Notable participants in the funding round include Kaustubh Wagle, Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group Middle East, Ramit Harisinghani, General Manager of the Devialet and Dyson brands at Chalhoub Group, and Sabban Corp Investments, a venture capital firm based in Dubai specializing in early-stage investments across the GCC region.

This latest infusion of capital brings SecureMyScholarship's total funding to $1.2 million.

Since its inception in November 2021, SecureMyScholarship boasted partnerships with 414 universities worldwide. Notably, the platform features a database encompassing nearly all private universities in the UAE, over 220 institutions in the USA, and more than 150 in the UK.

As of March 2024, SecureMyScholarship has facilitated the disbursement of over $8.2 million in scholarships, enabling over 1,500 students to pursue higher education at institutions worldwide.
