Saudi Wosul Clinches Best Innovative E-Payments Facility

In 2023, Wosul secured $3.2 million in a seed round led by Khalab’s company along with a group of angel investors in fintech and retail.

Wosul has been awarded the “Best Innovative Facility” in the field of electronic payments and invoicing for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the 11th Annual International Finance Awards 2023.[1]


The awards ceremony, which drew the participation of key financial entities from the Gulf and beyond, took place in Dubai on 18 January and was organized under the patronage of various governmental and private institutions. The award underscores Wosul's commitment to delivering financial solutions and payment services across diverse business sectors within the kingdom.

In March 2023, Wosul secured $3.2 million in a seed round led by Khalab’s company along with a group of angel investors in fintech and retail.[2] Established in Saudi Arabia in 2020 by Fahd Alghamdi, Wosul is a cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) system that allows merchants to accept digital transactions online and in-store.
