Diriyah Company is showcasing Saudi culture and heritage at London's Harrods through an exclusive pop-up exhibition that highlights the $63 billion mega-development project in Diriyah, the historic birthplace of the Kingdom. The immersive experience, open until July 26th, aims to attract the attention of the 450,000 visitors expected at Harrods this month.

The exhibition features a display of the master plan for the ambitious urban development, which will be six-and-a-half times the size of Monaco when completed. The project includes hotels, four metro stations, and extensive retail and commercial office spaces.

Diriyah Company collaborated with Harrods to create an exhibition space that tells the story of Saudi heritage and architecture, incorporating elements of traditional Najdi design in a warm color palette. The event will also showcase 350 residences developed by luxury brands Ritz Carlton, Baccarat, and Corinthia.

The Baccarat residences will blend modern luxury with classic French elegance, featuring opulent materials and Baccarat crystal accents. Corinthia will offer a more family-focused, homely atmosphere, while the Ritz Carlton units will offer high levels of service. Representatives from Diriyah Company are present to explain the differences between the brands and highlight their features.

In 2021, Saudi authorities issued a directive allowing non-Saudis who are legal residents to buy single properties in the kingdom, subject to approval. Six units are available at the Corinthia development and eight at the Baccarat. Sales at the Ritz Carlton development have moved quickly, with only 16 of the 106 residences still available.

The Harrods pop-up follows Diriyah Company’s exhibition at Outernet, an arts and culture district in London. These showcases are part of a broader Saudi strategy to promote Diriyah globally, with upcoming events planned in Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, and Paris.
