Dubai-Based AI Dubbing Platform CAMB.AI Raises $4 Million

CAMB.AI, an artificial intelligence dubbing company headquartered in Dubai, has secured $4 million in a seed funding round led by Courtside Ventures, a New York-based venture capital firm.[1]
This latest funding round is set to fuel CAMB.AI's growth.
The investor consortium includes TRTL Ventures based in Singapore, Blue Star Innovation Partners in Texas, Ikemori Ventures in Japan, and Japanese web designer Eisaburo Maeda. Early investors in the company also include TRTL and the Dubai Future District Fund.
Established in 2022, CAMB.AI specializes in speech AI technology that enables instant dubbing in over 100 languages, dialects, and accents, utilizing the original voices with their unique nuances. The company aims to capture and convey the speaker's original tone and emotion with less than three seconds of input, ensuring that translated content retains its power and engagement.
Co-founded by CEO Avneesh Prakash and Chief Technology Officer Akshat Prakash, CAMB.AI boasts over 100 million views of its dubbed content.
CAMB.AI’s major clients and testing partners include Major League Soccer, Tennis Australia, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, celebrity chef Nick DiGiovanni, YouTuber Narin Beauty, and BeerBiceps, among others.
CAMB.AI was chosen by Major League Soccer to participate in the inaugural MLS Innovation Lab cohort, with plans to test its translation technology across the league's extensive media ecosystem.
Additionally, CAMB.AI was employed for Emirati director Nayla Al Khaja's horror film "Three," which premiered at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, making it the world's first fully AI-dubbed multilingual feature film.
