Egypt-based adtech dKilo has concluded a $3.2 million seed round of funding from Upturn Ventures. This investment was spearheaded by Upturn Ventures, a recently established venture builder specializing in e-commerce.[1]

The infusion of capital is a blend of equity and financing.

By leveraging mobility and real-world environments, dKilo, which was co-founded by Mohamed Mousa and Sherif Abdelaty founded the startup in 2020, offers brands a channel to engage with their target audience. Through dKilo's online platform, brands unlock new avenues for increasing awareness and driving conversions in the realm of e-commerce.

With the additional funding, dKilo plans to create a new channel for brands to interact with their customers, enabling them to connect in real-world environments.
