In 2022, Jeel garnered $1.1 million in a seed round from EdVentures, the VC arm of Egypt-based Nahdet Misr Publishing Group.
Saudi Arabia-based edutainment platform Jeel has secured a seven-figure USD investment from RZM Investment and a group of angel investors. This funding will boost Jeel's digital content, expand operations, and introduce new services in the Saudi and Gulf markets.[1]
The company aims to further offer its services to institutions and governments. A portion of the investment will be allocated to adding new languages to the Jeel app, attracting users from various Arab countries, and venturing into new regional markets.
Founded in 2020 by Ahmed Sobaih, Jeel plans to develop its app with new features and enhanced user experience to increase engagement. Additionally, a comprehensive online store will be launched for easy purchase of Jeel app-related products and services.
