NoorNation Receives Undisclosed Investment from KBW Ventures
This is KBW Ventures’ first investment in an Egyptian startup.
Egypt’s climatetech NoorNation has received an undisclosed investment from KBW Ventures.[1]
NoorNation, established by Ragy Ramadan in 2021, focuses on providing decentralized energy and water infrastructure solutions to off-grid areas in Egypt and Sub-Saharan Africa. The company's flagship product, LifeBox, offers clean energy and safe water at affordable prices to rural communities, farms, and tourism businesses.
NoorNation recently gained recognition as the Best Green Tech Startup of the Year in Northern Africa by the Global Startup Awards 2024. The startup participated in the PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator Program: MENA Sustainability Edition, where it received a $20,000 grant.
This is KBW Ventures’ first investment in an Egyptian startup. KBW Ventures was founded by Saudi Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed.
