Plain Tiger Receives Investment from COREangelsMEA

UAE-based B2B marketplace Plain Tiger has raised an undisclosed sum from COREangelsMEA, a member of COREangels International. The investment, made with the support of the African Business Angel Network (ABAN), follows COREangelsMEA’s fourth investment committee meeting, which reviewed over 750 startup applications from the region.[1]

Plain Tiger was chosen after being nominated alongside four other startups to present their ideas to business angels.
COREangelsMEA partners with Kemtix Ventures, the venture builder arm of PTS Investments Holdings, to offer more than capital, providing venture development services and guidance from experienced business angels, known as "Archangels."
Plain Tiger’s B2B marketplace helps hotels transition to sustainable supply chains by connecting them with verified suppliers and offering environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data.
Founded in 2021 by Alexandra Polson and Oliver Baillie, Plain Tiger aims to simplify access to eco-friendly products and services, enhancing procurement processes and operational efficiency in the hospitality industry.
