The Toronto-based digital asset investment and capital markets advisory firm GDA Capital has invested $85,000 in UAE-based Web3 services provider U-topia.[1]

U-topia aims to integrate intellectual properties from both Web2 and Web3 into gamified entertainment products, including video games, music, and movies.

The investment will fuel the development of new features and technologies within the U-topia platform.

GDA Capital executives will provide strategic guidance to U-Topia as part of the deal.

Key to U-topia's strategy is the development of U-Wallet, a compliant wallet designed to democratize digital ownership and facilitate mainstream adoption of digital assets, including NFTs and cryptocurrencies.

U-topia plans to distribute 25,000 free NFTs to early subscribers, to promote access to digital assets.

Jérémy Mahieu and Nicolas Prévost founded the Web3 entertainment company in 2021.
