UAE Enacts Remote Learning, Work Amid Severe Weather

With weather-related directives varying by the emirate, NCEMA emphasized the closure of roads leading to flood-prone areas to minimize the impact of adverse weather conditions.

Sharjah, in particular, has outlined comprehensive plans, with all schools and universities transitioning to distance learning on Thursday. Government employees will also work remotely, aligning with Sharjah's four-day week schedule, with Friday already designated as a day off.
With unstable weather predicted, all Dubai private schools, nurseries, and universities must offer distance learning on Thursday, May 2 & Friday, May 3. Stay safe everyone.

Public parks are set to close on both days as a precautionary measure. Most of the country will experience moderate to heavy rain, along with thunder and lightning, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
