UAE Launches Middle East's First Passenger-Carrying Drone
Two trial flights took place at Abu Dhabi Mobility Week.
Abu Dhabi hosted the Middle East's first passenger-carrying drone trials during the Abu Dhabi Mobility Week, held from April 24th to May 1st, 2024.[1]
The trials featured two flights: a five-seater drone capable of traveling over 25km with a payload of up to 350kg, and a compact drone designed to carry two passengers over 35km in approximately 20 minutes.

The event, held at the Advanced Mobility Hub in partnership with Emirates Falcons Aviation, highlighted Multi-Level Group's (MLG) Autonomous Aerial Vehicles (AAVs) and their potential to revolutionize aviation.

Notably, the five-seater drone achieved a record-setting flight duration of 40 minutes, covering 123km, the longest recorded drone flight to date.
