Hunch, a social discovery app headquartered in Dubai, has successfully closed a Series A funding round, raising $23 million to fuel its expansion plan.[1]

The round was led by prominent investors Alpha Wave and Hashed, along with other key contributors.

Founded in December 2022 by CEO Ish Goel, CPO Nitika Goel, and CMO Kartic Rakhra, Hunch enables users to engage anonymously, creating polls on a wide range of topics spanning pop culture, gaming, finance, dating, relationships, anime, and more.

These polls help stimulate discussions, allowing individuals to validate their opinions and connect with like-minded peers. With over 640,000 polls generated to date, attracting more than 25 million opinions through user participation, Hunch has established itself as a dynamic platform for meaningful interaction.

With plans to release the app in the US and the Indian markets, Hunch is ready to accelerate its expansion efforts as a result of this most recent funding round.

While headquartered in Dubai, Hunch also maintains offices in India and Singapore.
