The 212 Founders program, a flagship initiative of CDG Invest--the investment arm of the CDG Group, has invested $492,925 million in the Morocco-based copyright-management platform Crealo.[1]

Also participating in the $1.42 million seed round are Kima Ventures, Evolem, and Super Capital, along with a group of business angels.

The funds secured will elevate the quality of Crealo's offerings, forging new partnerships, expanding its workforce, and propelling the startup's growth.

The 212 Founders program has been a trailblazer in fostering entrepreneurship and driving economic sophistication in Morocco.

Since its inception in 2019, the program has successfully executed 18 financings across Seed and Series A stages, cumulatively reaching an impressive milestone of $9.76 million.

Founded in 2021, Crealo is considered the first solution dedicated to comprehensively addressing copyright issues across diverse sectors of the cultural and creative industries.

With a distinguished clientele including Palais de Tokyo, L’Équipe, Beaux-Arts Magazine, and the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle, Crealo's platform caters to organizations of all sizes, offering a sophisticated and user-friendly system that automates the entire copyright royalty management process in France.

The platform has already facilitated clients in transitioning from annual to more frequent royalty settlements, for convenience.
