PIF, WTA Partner to Grow Women's Tennis Globally
With this latest agreement, PIF now stands as the sole global partner across both the WTA and ATP Tours.
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) have forged a multi-year partnership aimed at propelling the sport's growth worldwide.[1]
Under this partnership, PIF will take on the role of the first-ever naming partner of the WTA Rankings, now to be known as the PIF WTA Rankings. These rankings will track the journeys of women's tennis players worldwide.
Moreover, the PIF and the WTA will celebrate players' achievements and share their compelling stories with the world.
PIF and the WTA will join forces to expand existing youth initiatives and create new opportunities for young players.
This collaboration follows PIF's recent venture with the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), where it became the official naming partner of the PIF ATP Rankings.
With this latest agreement, PIF now stands as the sole global partner across both the WTA and ATP Tours.
Additionally, PIF has cemented partnerships with key tournaments such as the combined WTA 1000 and ATP Masters 1000 events in Indian Wells, Miami, and Madrid, along with the Beijing WTA 1000 and ATP 500 tournaments.
