SAMA Opens Registration for Investment Immersion Program

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has launched registration for its fourth edition of the Investment Immersion Program (IIP) on April 17th, for a duration of six weeks.[1]

SAMA said that the program aimed at enhancing local investment professionals. The IIP combines a series of academic courses with intensive practical training across various investment sectors.
Developed in collaboration with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, along with several major global banks and asset managers, the program offers participants exposure to relevant industry practices.
Participants can expect advanced technical courses, on-the-job training with international financial institutions, and rotations within SAMA's investment deputyship. These opportunities are overseen by experts in asset management and global financial markets.
Moreover, the program includes continuous development initiatives to sharpen participants' investment skills and offers distinctive employment benefits.
Eligibility criteria for the program include Saudi nationality, a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or related fields from accredited universities, and a minimum GPA equivalent of 3/4 or above. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English, be under the age of 27, and successfully pass behavioral and technical assessments.
