Dubai Holding, a multinational investment holding firm with operations in 13 countries, has started receiving applications for the "Innovate for Tomorrow Challenge".[1]

This challenge invites innovators from around the world to share impactful and scalable solutions to major sustainability issues facing the UAE. Submissions for the challenge must be made by Sunday, March 31st.

The challenge intends to assist enterprising individuals in creating forward-thinking sustainable solutions that can propel the UAE's economy toward a circular economy and quicken its transition to net zero. The challenge, led by Dubai Holding, is carried out in association with the in5 business incubator of TECOM Group.

Sustainable solutions must be submitted in the form of a service, process, or MVP, with a focus on encouraging ethical consumption and production methods that are in line with UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12. This covers topics like waste minimization, resource efficiency, supply chain sustainability, economic circularity, and consumer education.

The "Innovate for Tomorrow Challenge" winner and runner-up will be chosen after a thorough review procedure and will earn a substantial awards package. The announcement of the winners is scheduled for May 2024.

This includes a small monetary reward for each and access to the in5 business incubator run by TECOM Group.

The winner will get specialized mentoring from business leaders throughout the Group and have the unique chance to put the idea into practice through a pilot program with Dubai Holding.

The five finalists will also get the chance to present their solutions to important industry players during an investor pitch day.

There are no registration costs associated. Please click here for further details or to apply for the challenge.
