Tamkeen Launches Leadership Program for Bahraini Women
The initiative focuses on strategic thinking, problem-solving, influence, and results-driven management.
The Bahraini Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has announced the launch of the “Accelerating Women’s Leadership Program” in partnership with the business school HEC Paris, designed to equip Bahraini women with leadership skills to advance in the private sector. The program will cover leadership strategies, problem-solving, influence, and goal-oriented management.
The launch aligns with Bahraini Women’s Day on December 1 and is organized by the Supreme Council for Women under the patronage of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This year’s theme, “Women: Worthy Partner in Nation Building,” reflects the National Strategy for the Advancement of Bahraini Women, which has guided progress over the past 25 years.
The program is part of the Executive Leadership Training Initiative, led by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Scheduled to kick off in February 2025, the program targets Bahraini women in mid-level executive roles. To qualify, applicants must have five to seven years of managerial experience, hold a bachelor’s degree, and work in the private sector. The application deadline is December 14, 2024, and interested parties can apply here.
