StartUp Bahrain Pens Partnership To Support Tech Education
The partnership will offer entrepreneurs access to training in coding, UX design, and data analytics.

StartUp Bahrain, the country’s platform for entrepreneurship, which is supported by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), has inked a partnership with General Assembly Bahrain to expand tech education and support Bahrain’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
StartUp Bahrain was founded in 2017 as a national initiative supported by Tamkeen and the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB). It was established to foster entrepreneurship, support startups, and strengthen Bahrain's position as a regional hub for innovation. General Assembly Bahrain, also part of Tamkeen, offers courses in software engineering, user experience (UX) design, and data analytics to equip Bahrainis with relevant tech skills. The institute has a track record of placing graduates in full-time and freelance jobs as well as supporting entrepreneurial roles, as part of its efforts to address the digital skills gap.
The partnership will offer entrepreneurs access to training in coding, UX design, and data analytics to help them develop technical expertise for their businesses.
