In collaboration with UK-based Hambro Perks, the Riyada Business Acceleration Program aims to bolster entrepreneurs engaged in technology and innovation-driven ventures.
Over the next three years, the program plans to back 36 enterprises in their incubation and acceleration endeavors. The program will assist these companies in securing funds and enhancing their team capabilities, facilitating their expansion on both local and international fronts.
The program is in alignment with Tamkeen's 2024 strategic priorities, concentrating on economic impact and fostering private sector development through three pillars: augmenting economic participation, broadening career development opportunities, and supporting enterprises.
To qualify for the program, startups must be based in Bahrain, have a minimum of three years of existence, and possess a valid commercial license or registration. For startups lacking an active commercial registration, the eligibility criteria include presenting a product prototype and having at least one Bahraini founder. Additionally, qualifying companies must exhibit a business model with substantial potential for success and growth in both local and global markets.
