Dubai Municipality Launches Talent 71 Program
Announced at the 2024 Ru’ya UAE Careers event, the initiative aims to enhance national competencies in the UAE.
As part of its vision to enhance national competencies, Dubai Municipality has launched the Talent 71 program that, by attracting a new group of Emirati graduates, aims to provide graduate participants with advanced knowledge and skills to ensure that they’re ready for the entity's work environment.
Talent 71 adopts a strategic approach, featuring training streams developed by a team of experts. The program focuses on developing leadership qualities among young talents while supporting the nation’s growth. It includes five key training streams: engineering, public utilities, digital and artificial intelligence, health and safety, and waste management and sanitation.

Each stream is tailored to address developments and improve efficiencies within Dubai Municipality, benefiting Dubai's society and environment.
The program's main objective is to attract talent and improve workforce efficiency. It aims to streamline operations within Dubai Municipality, enhance public service quality, and support Emirati youth in entering the labor market with relevant skills.
Additionally, Talent 71 offers participants practical experience in major projects and government initiatives. Specialized training courses in digitization and artificial intelligence will improve their competencies in these important fields. This initiative is significant for preparing a new generation of national talent, aligning with Dubai’s vision of establishing a knowledge-based economy and promoting innovation for sustainable growth.
