The Dubai Press Club (DPC) has launched the Dubai Content Creators Program, a media training initiative to help emerging talents and content creators develop skills in digital media.

This multi-phase program will offer specialized training in areas such as economy, culture, sports, and society, with each phase tailored to address specific content creation needs.

The Dubai Content Creators Program provides training in storytelling, audience engagement, and multimedia production, preparing participants to create content that reaches audiences across digital platforms. Areas of focus include developing narratives, designing content for digital engagement, and integrating multimedia elements like video and infographics to enhance message delivery.

The program will include training in research and analysis methods, helping participants develop skills in various research approaches and use a range of sources to gather information, thereby improving the credibility of their content.

Maryam Al Mulla, acting director of Dubai Press Club, shared that the program’s initial phase will see the Economic Content Creators Program launch in December, which is being run in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Economy and financial media organizations. This phase aims to enhance economic literacy in digital media by providing training in economic reporting and industry trends.

In a statement, UAE Minister of Economy HE Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri stated, “The collaboration with Dubai Press Club aligns with the Ministry of Economy's vision on the importance of continued dialogue and building fruitful partnerships with media and press institutions in the country. They are our partners in effectively highlighting the UAE’s business environment and investment opportunities, as well as bringing the world’s attention to the economic transformation and developments taking place in the country.”

Training partners for the Economic Content Creators Program include CNBC Arabia, Dubai Media, blinx, Murdoch University, and the American University in Dubai, among others. It is open to UAE citizens and residents aged 20 to 45 who are proficient in both Arabic and English, have basic knowledge of digital platforms, and can commit to the in-person training schedule.

Applications for the program can be submitted through the DPC website at https://dpc.org.ae
