Deliveroo Launches Rider Education Program
Deliveroo will sponsor riders globally to pursue academic certificates and training courses in content marketing, web development, and coding, and languages.
Food delivery service provider Deliveroo has unveiled an initiative aimed at supporting its riders through education and skills enhancement in collaboration with Lynx Educate, an educational platform dedicated to fostering career growth.[1]
Through the Lynx Educate platform, Deliveroo riders will gain access to over 1,000 online courses from several institutions, such as The Open University, OpenClassrooms, and Chegg Skills. From business management to coding, project management, photography, and beyond, riders will have the opportunity to sharpen their skills at their own pace, fitting around their work schedules.
Moreover, language proficiency is set to receive a boost as Deliveroo sponsors courses offered by language learning providers Busuu and Voxy, encompassing 14 different languages, including English, Arabic, Chinese, French, and Japanese.
In addition, Deliveroo will sponsor 100 riders globally to pursue higher qualification certificates and academic courses in content marketing, web development, and culinary arts.
Founded in 2013 by William Shu and Greg Orlowski, Deliveroo is headquartered in London and operates across 10 markets, including Belgium, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Ireland, Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, UAE, and the UK.
