The Browser Company has announced that its AI-enhanced browser, Arc Search, will soon be available on Android devices. The company shared a preview of the new Android app in a short video on its official Threads platform account.[1]
Arc Search, which launched on iOS last year, is expected to bring its features to Android. The browser is likely to run on the Chromium engine, similar to Google Chrome.
Key features of Arc Search include "Browse For Me," which quickly summarizes entire web pages into organized guides. This feature allows users to get answers, lessons, or suggestions by browsing multiple sources. The browser also offers built-in ad blocking, a simple reading mode to reduce visual clutter, and the ability to neatly organize and archive tabs.
Arc Search can be launched directly from the keyboard and includes built-in voice search. It also allows users to sync open tabs, web history, and passwords across all devices.
