Billboard Arabia Launches Four New Charts for Arab Dialects
The new dialect charts will be available every Thursday on Billboard Arabia’s website and social media platforms.
Billboard Arabia has introduced four new dialect-specific charts: Khaleeji, Egyptian, Levantine, and Maghrebi. These charts aim to recognize the diversity of the Arabic language and provide artists from different Arab regions with more opportunities for recognition and reaching wider audiences.[1]
With the launch of the Khaleeji Chart, Egyptian Chart, Levantine Chart, and Maghrebi Chart, Arab artists can now better understand their standings in their markets.
The new dialect charts will be available every Thursday on Billboard Arabia’s website and social media platforms.
In December 2023, the platform introduced the Billboard Arabia Artist 100 and Billboard Arabia Hot 100 charts, providing a reference point for the Arab music industry based on Billboard’s established parameters.
