HPE Launches Managed Data Center with Liquid Cooling in UAE
This service supports the UAE’s national AI strategy and features direct liquid cooling (DLC) technology.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has introduced a new managed data center hosting service in the UAE, in partnership with Khazna Data Centers. This service supports the UAE’s national AI strategy and features direct liquid cooling (DLC) technology.[1]
The facility, designed for high-performance computing (HPC) and AI applications, includes advanced computing, accelerated computing, software, networking, and DLC systems. DLC technology is more energy-efficient than traditional air-cooling, addressing the power demands associated with AI, which is expected to grow significantly by 2026.
The data center’s liquid-based cooling solution offers better per kW performance than air-cooled systems and can reduce space requirements. HPE Services worked with Khazna to optimize the Abu Dhabi facility for AI and HPC workloads and provides flexible options through HPE GreenLake.
The facility supports various GPUs and CPUs, helping customers manage energy consumption and carbon emissions from AI operations. HPE aims to contribute to the UAE’s goal of reducing emissions and supporting sustainable growth.
