Jordan’s Agricultural Entrepreneurship And Innovation Association Launches AgriTech Incubator
The program aims to help Jordan-based founders build scalable agritech ventures through incubation, mentorship, investor access, and market support.
The Jordanian Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association (JAEI), in partnership with the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Syndicate, has launched the Jordan Agricultural Innovation and Technology Incubator (AgriTech Jordan), a national incubator designed to support startups addressing key challenges in the country’s agricultural sector through technology and innovation.
Dedicated to early-stage ventures operating in the agricultural space, AgriTech Jordan will offer participants access to specialized incubation and acceleration programs, which will include training workshops, mentorship from industry experts, connections to investors and funding sources, and market-access support aimed at improving commercial success and long-term sustainability.
In a statement, JAEI President Dr. Imad Ayasra described the initiative as a step toward translating the association’s broader vision into action. “AgriTech Jordan is not just a project, but a national platform for creating opportunities and an enabling environment to turn entrepreneurial ideas into startups capable of growth and competition," he said.
Eng. Ali Abu Nokta, head of the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Syndicate, said, “This incubator represents a genuine national platform to embrace the ideas of young people and transform them into successful production projects,” adding that his syndicate will mobilize its branches, resources, and technical staff to support AgriTech Jordan’s programs.
With Jordan’s agricultural sector known to be navigating mounting challenges like climate change, limited resources, and rising production costs, AgriTech Jordan has been aimed at supporting entrepreneurs building innovative solutions that can enhance food security, improve sustainability, and create high-value jobs.
