Egypt Launches GovTech Innovation Lab to Back Startups
In collaboration with Flat6labs, Robusta, and other partners, the initiative seeks to create a dynamic ecosystem for GovTech startups.
The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has introduced the GovTech Innovation Lab, an initiative aimed at boosting startup empowerment and improving digital public services.[1]
With support from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and key industry players like AWS, Huawei, and Microsoft, the GovTech Innovation Lab aims to revolutionize government services through technological innovation.
In collaboration with Flat6labs, Robusta, and other partners, the initiative seeks to create a dynamic ecosystem for GovTech startups.
The program, running for three to five months, offers startups comprehensive support, including training, mentorship, and networking opportunities. It targets GovTech startups committed to addressing societal challenges.
With applications closing on April 13, the GovTech Innovation Lab hopes to enhance Egypt's digital landscape, empowering startups to develop innovative solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of society.
