Egypt Launches First Government AI Chatbot KMT
KMT will help in fortifying transparency and facilitating broader access to essential information.
The Central Agency for Organization and Administration (CAOA) unveiled the debut of KMT, the country's first government AI chatbot. The launch took place in the New Administrative Capital.[1]
KMT provides information dissemination within the civil service landscape. Developed to field inquiries about civil service legislation and CAOA's service offerings, KMT will provide civil servants and the wider public with accurate, well-documented responses.
KMT was created to address inquiries pertaining to civil service laws and the functions offered by the Central Agency for Organization and Administration (CAOA), ensuring precise and well-documented data is available to civil servants and the broader public.
CAOA created "KMT" in collaboration with the USAID Economic Governance Activity. The Egyptian startup focused on information technology, WideBot, implemented the project.
KMT is designed to address over 50,000 inquiries concerning civil service laws and executive rules. KMT efficiently processes inquiries and promptly replies via the CAOA official website or the Agency's WhatsApp and Facebook applications.
