The Sixth Edition of UAE AI Camp Kicks Off
A five-week artificial intelligence (AI) camp aimed at educating children, students, and coding experts about AI and its applications across different sectors will begin in Dubai on Monday.
The sixth edition of the UAE Artificial Intelligence Camp, organized by the National Programme for Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with the National Programme for Coders, will debut on July 29th. Taking over five weeks, the camp empowers youth by imparting future-oriented skills and exposing them to advanced AI solutions and resources. This initiative aims to inspire participants to create innovative solutions for challenges and foster advancements in technology, thereby contributing to the growth of key sectors.
The UAE AI Camp targets children, students from schools and universities, AI and coding experts, and various community groups. The agenda includes sessions aimed at boosting participants' competitiveness in hackathons and competitions focusing on generative artificial intelligence across the Arab region. The workshops will be conducted in partnership with both governmental and private entities, along with prominent technology firms. Additionally, it addresses the significance of cybersecurity by educating on challenges, standards, and best practices while promoting responsible AI adoption in educational institutions to enrich understanding and maximize the effective use of technological methods.

The camp includes interactive and enjoyable sessions to educate participants on robotics. They will explore the practical uses of robots in everyday scenarios, tackle diverse challenges, and grasp the fundamental concepts of computer vision as applied to robotics. This involves hands-on learning in image processing and the design of robots capable of human interaction.
This initiative is one of several government moves focused on achieving a sustainable digital economy and positioning the UAE as a global leader in emerging fields. This involves enhancing collaboration among government entities, private sector organizations, and leading global technology firms in artificial intelligence. The aim is to educate camp participants about the latest advancements and trends in this dynamic field, ensuring they stay informed and prepared for future developments.
Witnessing its sixth edition, the camp attracted over 30,000 participants throughout its history from diverse educational backgrounds and academic levels in its training workshops designed to enhance participants' skills with innovative technological methods.
