The Consumer Electronics Show, or CES, the tech world's biggest annual exhibit, is back for its 2026 edition, headlined by companies that are painting a vivid picture of how technology is shaping the future.

Organized by the US Consumer Technology Association at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Winchester, Nevada, the 59th edition of the event officially opened its doors on January 7, bringing together innovators, tech giants, and startups from around the globe.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, artificial intelligence (AI) has taken center stage across nearly every product category, with it appearing in showcases from tech giants like Samsung, LG, Sony, Intel, NVIDIA, and several others. And beyond the AI hype are companies building solutions to everyday problems, whether that's a robot that can fold your laundry, or a wearable device that can record and summarize your conversations.
