EdfaPay Teams Up with Tamara to Provide Payment Solutions

Saudi-based fintech EdfaPay has announced its recent partnership with the Saudi Arabia-based fintech Tamara to enable online store owners in the Kingdom to provide various payment methods to their customers, according to an announcement.[1]
This will help customers purchase products and services online without the need for immediate payment, allowing them to postpone payment until a later time according to their needs.
Tamara, a shopping and payments platform for Saudi Arabia and the GCC, employs more than 500 people.
It was founded in Riyadh in 2020 by entrepreneur Abdulmajeed Alsukhan, Turki Bin Zarah, and Abdulmohsen Al Babtain and has offices in the UAE, Egypt, Germany, and Vietnam.
Tamara works with over 26,000 merchants, including brands like SHEIN, Noon, Ikea, and Farfetch, among others, and has over 9 million users.
Established in 2022 by Ghormallah Alghamdi and Nedal Sabbah, EdfaPay provides SMEs with a tap-to-pay solution using smartphones instead of traditional POS devices.
