Classera Acquires Expert Solutions
Classera concluded a $40 million Series A round in October 2022.
US-based and Mena-focused edtech Classera has acquired Saudi Arabia-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Expert Solutions for Information Technology for an undisclosed sum.[1]
Classera is an ecosystem that incorporates a gamified learning management system based on AI and social learning, as well as payment options for these courses. Enterpreneurs Mohammad Alashmawi and Mohammad Almadani founded it in 2011.
Established in 2010, Expert Solutions provides Middle Eastern schools with ERP systems.
Classera intends to offer educational and training institutions a full and integrated ecosystem, and this acquisition will help them achieve that goal.
Classera, currently serving over 40 countries, aims to empower educational institutions through its Learning Super Platform (LSP).
Classera concluded a $40 million Series A round in October 2022, with Sanabil Investments leading the group along with other international VCs and investors.[2]
The company's LSP is a fully integrated ecosystem that consists of an augmented reality learning app called "C-Reality," a fully functional ERP called "C-Smarter" for educational institutions, an integrated e-payment gateway called "C-Pay" for financing, payments for tuition, and pocket money, as well as a specialized educational marketplace called "Edumalls" for edtech and educational supplies.
