EdVentures, the investment arm of Egyptian Nahdet Misr Group and the first venture capital company specializing in educational technology in the Middle East has announced a $400,000 investment in Egypt-based edtech startup El Kheta.[1]

Founded in 2019 by Mohamed Mahmoud, El Kheta is a platform designed to help school students in Egypt by providing reinforcement lessons, exercises, and exams based on the new Egyptian curricula. The platform offers a personalized and flexible educational experience, allowing students to select their preferred curricula and create tailored study plans. Features include interactive educational videos, homework assignments, and direct communication with teachers.

EdVentures' investment will help El Kheta expand online education opportunities for Egyptian students, reinforcing its commitment to entrepreneurship in Egypt and the broader Arab region.
