GWC Launches Al Wukair Logistics Park Directory
GWC has a comprehensive strategy to support MSMEs as part of its efforts to promote economic diversification in Qatar.
Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC) announces the launch of the Al Wukair Logistics Park Directory today, the United Nations MSME Day.
The first phase of Al Wukair Logistics Park was inaugurated in early 2022 and the second phase launched in September 2023. Combined, the two phases span 1.5 million square meters and provide light industry infrastructure for MSMEs, including workshops, warehousing units, and open yards. The park provides MSMEs with a one-stop shop to lease warehouses and workshops, register companies, apply for permits, and conduct logistics operations.
GWC was awarded the development of Al Wukair Logistics Park by Manateq in December 2019 as part of a $412 million public-private partnership.
“Al Wukair Logistics Park Directory serves as a platform to boost MSMEs growth and enhance partnerships and alliances within the local market. It aims to empower MSMEs to succeed and achieve their goals, especially following the successful first and second phases of Al Wukair Logistics Park, which attracted a significant number of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises," said Ranjeev Menon, Group CEO of GWC.

In November 2023, GWC inked a cooperation deal with the QDB to support MSMEs. Under the agreement, GWC provides QDB-affiliated companies with special rates for logistical services. It also provides accommodation solutions, logistics consultation services, and preferential rates for UPS services to QDB’s employees and customers.

Established in 2004, it offers best-in-class logistics and supply chain services, including warehousing, distribution, logistics solutions for hazardous materials, freight forwarding, project logistics, and fine arts logistics, among others. It was the first regional supporter and official logistics provider for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Last year, GWC held its third annual GWC Forum under the theme "Fostering Legacy-Empowering MSMEs in the Digital Era" in Qatar.
