Inc. Arabia is proud to announce NextGen AI Creative Summit 2024, an event dedicated to exploring the profound impact of artificial intelligence on the creative sectors. The dynamic one-day summit will be held in November in Dubai, the UAE. It will provide a platform for thought leaders, innovators, and professionals to converge and share insights on how AI can boost the creative industries.

The summit will discuss how AI is transforming sectors like technology and innovation, media and entertainment, marketing and advertising, retail and e-commerce, design and architecture, media production, television broadcasting, gaming, and digital content creation. Through fireside chats, presentations, and panel discussions, participants will explore how AI is redefining social media and digital storytelling, content creation, and retail experiences. The summit will close with a discussion of AI ethics, employment impacts, and benefits and challenges of blending human and AI creativity.

Why AI?

In 2017, the UAE became the first country to appoint a minister for artificial intelligence. That same year, the UAE government launched the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence, making it the first country in the region to develop an AI strategy.

Since then, the rest of the GCC has quickly caught up, with Dubai and Riyadh becoming global innovation hubs for AI, making the region a forerunner in AI development and adoption. PwC estimates that AI will contribute $320 billion to the Middle East economy by 2030, with Saudi Arabia and the UAE projected to benefit the most from AI adoption. AI will contribute an estimated $135.2 billion to the Saudi economy (12.4% of GDP) and $96 billion to the UAE economy (13.6% of GDP) by 2030. AI is expected to contribute $45.9 billion to the combined economies of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar (8.2% of GDP) and $42.7 billion to the Egyptian economy (7.7% of GDP) by 2030.

The UAE government’s commitment to promoting AI, support for the creative industries, economic and cultural diversity, and strategic location have made it a hub for AI-powered innovative businesses.

“Dubai is the ideal city for a summit on AI, with initiatives like Dubai Future Foundation, among others, leading the charge on AI adoption in the UAE. The UAE’s commitment to promoting AI, support for the creative industries, economic and cultural diversity, and strategic location make it a hub for AI-powered innovation,” said Anas Abbar, 7awi Media Group CEO.
