Dubai to Host AI Prompt Engineering Championship

Dubai is gearing up to host the Global Prompt Engineering Championship. Scheduled for May 20-21, 2024, the event will convene at the Museum of the Future, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation.
With a total prize pool of up to AED 1 million ($272,279), the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), overseen by the Dubai Future Foundation, has officially opened the registration doors. Aspiring participants can now secure their spot via this link.
Prompt engineering, a skill of huge importance in generative AI applications like ChatGPT and Midjourney, will take center stage in this competition.
A voting system will be used to choose thirty finalists, with ten finalists chosen in each of the three categories to compete in Dubai. Based on factors such as content speed, quality, and accuracy, a committee of scholars, entrepreneurs, and specialists in technology and artificial intelligence will assess these contestants.
