Qatar Development Bank (QDB), a government-backed development institution, has introduced Reyada, a digital platform aimed at supporting Qatar-based enterprises through integrated business development services and training programs.

The announcement, which took place during a media event at Scale7 Studio, an entrepreneurship and innovation hub in Msheireb Downtown Doha, showcased Reyada as a one-stop destination where companies can access growth-oriented tools and training, while simultaneously creating direct pathways between entrepreneurs and professional consultants offering competitive packages.

In a statement, QDB CEO Abdulrahman bin Hesham Al-Sowaidi said, “Today, we are elevating our enterprise development services and support for the national entrepreneurship ecosystem to a new level of efficiency, reliability, and digital transformation through the launch of Reyada Portal. The Portal offers a comprehensive range of services, programs, and intelligent tools that address all the needs of entrepreneurs aspiring to establish new projects or expand their businesses, across development, training, and capacity-building services. Through the portal’s role as a link between business owners and listed service providers, we are confident it will be a catalyst that enhances the resilience and vitality of the private sector and its ability to evolve and integrate roles, thereby stimulating economic diversification efforts in Qatar.”

The new system works through two distinct pathways. First, the Reyada Advisory Platform offers businesses tools and products to support growth, as well as financial grants to cover part of their costs. Through it, companies can receive support with capacity building and localizing their operations, and participate in exhibitions to support growth and expansion. The platform also links companies with registered experts and service providers, facilitating access to relevant services.

The second pillar, Reyada Academy, offers targeted educational initiatives that combine theory with hands-on learning. Reyada Academy focuses on developing entrepreneurial competencies, providing founders and business leaders with critical skills for growth and market competitiveness. Training areas cover vital aspects of enterprise development, from refining strategic business models and improving operational performance to strengthening management practices, boosting marketing and sales effectiveness, and building robust governance structures with sound financial planning. Reyada Academy will integrate the newly introduced Financial Literacy Program, an initiative by QDB aimed at supporting Qatari individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses, with specialized courses to be introduced on a phased basis.
